All of our mallets are an upgrade from mallets you’ll find in less expensive recreational sets. At about 27 oz. and custom sizes offered from “28-36” long,  they are a little heavier and a little longer than than mallets in less expensive sets. Usually found only on much more expensive mallets, ours include hand grips and sight lines. Lightweight 9 oz. balls (not included) are perfectly matched to give these hardwood mallets many years of use. Crafted with quality, hand-painted, hand-rubbed with oil and safisfaction guaranteed.

One Piece Mallets

Your choice of lengths! 28,” 30”, 32,” 34,” 36.” American made, hard-maple mallet heads with sight lines. Mallet handles are maple, ash, or oak with hand grips.

The mallet handle is permanently glued to the mallet head for added strength. Everyone, especially extreme croquet players, knows that anything will break if you hit it hard enough. When a mallet does break, the most common place to break is near the threads, where they meet the head. Instead of adding expensive hardware to attach a removeable handle, we make a one-piece durable mallet for a low price.

The painted mallets are hand-painted except the hitting surface. The “natural” finish mallet is not painted but the entire mallet is an oil-rubbed finish. The hitting surface on all of these mallets is a natural hard-maple surface, hand-rubbed with oil so they won’t chip.

Two-piece Mallets

Two-piece mallets are available in solid color or two-toned.

31” maple mallet. These are two-toned, with a coat of varnish over the whole mallet. A sprayed-on finish. These are replacement mallets for the Bar Harbor. Scottsdale. and Eastport sets by Forest Industries (Paris Co.) We’ve added the handgrips, sight lines and an oil finish to the hitting surface.. Choose with or without a handgrip. Also, choose matching colored mallet head or natural.All of these mallets have an oil finish on the hitting surface because varnish tends to chip

We will shorten these mallets at no extra charge. Just specify your desired length under “optional custom comments” at checkout. These mallets do not come longer than 31”.

Personalize your mallets for no extra charge! These make great gifts! Whether you’re ordering a set or just one mallet, you can request free lettering or even your company logo for no extra charge. We customize the one-piece and the two-piece mallets. Just request the letters at customer checkout.  Just one name and logo per mallet. Simple logos come out the best. Just email the design. If we can’t make a decent copy, we’ll let you know.

Lightweight Mallets

Great size for small people!

These mallets are 27” long and weigh in at a little over a pound. They’re about the weight of typical backyard mallet but they are sturdier. This is a great size for kids! Made in America from 100% hardwood, they are stained with a dark walnut finish and varnished. Of course, they are satisfaction guaranteed. These mallets match up very well with croquet balls that are under a pound, such as any balls found in backyard croquet sets.

Shipping of Mallets

The first two mallets you order are shipped Priority Mail. The first mallet is $7.50 to ship, anywhere in the country. Each additional mallet is only $3.00 more. Shipping costs of the lightweight mallets are $6 for the first mallet and $2.50 for each additional mallet. If PayPal charges you more when you combine different types of mallets, we will always refund the difference if there is any. We will always combine shipping to give the best deal, no matter what you order.
